Christchurch Neurophysiology is a diagnostic service, providing outpatient nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalograms (EEG).

NCS/EMG can be helpful in the investigation of many conditions affecting nerves and muscles including: carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, nerve root or nerve injuries, myopathy and motor neurone disorders. EEG is used for the diagnosis and characterisation of seizures and some other conditions
